Bishop Hackworth, founder and Pastor of the Testimonial Cathedral Church of God In Christ, also serves as the Jurisdictional Prelate of the Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He succeeds Bishop Benjamin J. Crouch, nephew of the late Bishop S.M. Crouch, one of the Pioneers of the C.O.G.I.C.

Our Bishop's church in South Los Angeles has implemented such ministries as: The Love Center - a Homeless Shelter and Training Center for the Disadvantaged; The Testimonial Christian School; in addition to outreach ministries such as: 12 Step Program for Substance Abusers, Orange County Jail Ministry and Street Witnessing Ministry which spans throughout the South Los Angeles area.
